This from "The Independent." A leftest source. The mortification of the BBC is on its way, deserved mortification

That is a remarkable article coming from The Independent, which, let's not forget, led the pack with hysterical "Massacre of Jenin" coverage in 2002 from Philip Reeves and Robert Fiske. Reeves had the decency to later apologize; Fiske, of course, never did.

The BBC is simply unable to muster an ounce of outrage at the Palestinians no matter what; but at the Israelis - well, that's different, they can be just as outraged at the Israelis as at the British government.

A prime on-going example of this is the kidnapping of Alan Johnston. Now they like Alan Johnston, and they are worried about him - you can hear it in the newsreaders' voices every time they report his unknown status. But be outraged that he was kidnapped in Gaza? Not a bit of it. They are just sad about him. You might suppose he had been swept out to sea in some tragic accident, from the manner of their reporting.
