I can see Apr20Puts more desirable than Apr 17.5 puts only if you thing the price will go above 17.50 between now and expiration --- but only for the writers -- and it is unlikely.

The Apr17.50 puts have 2278 fewer contracts in open interest this morning (they traded only 62 yesterday).

The Apr20 puts have 94 fewer open interest, but traded 48000 yesterday. These puts had 9400 in open interest yesterday, but the Prophet intraday chart says 20,000 traded in a very short time (<5min?) and repeated it again 1/2 hour later.

Even if these are day trades, people opening and closing interest within an hour, what is the attraction of these options (Apr20 puts) and not the neighboring options (Apr 17.50)
