It should be noted that Hiroki Yomogita is the Silicon Valley correspondent for Nikkei Electronics Asia, and one could view this article in the light of Hitachi's (north 1st st, San Jose) unsuccessful attempt to start an 802.11 Task Group about streaming video around the home.

In short, someone fed Yomogita-san the story. Guess who
