no I am making the point that the hysteria of the Democrats in the last election, goes directly against their behaviour in the case of the Democrat who was sleeping with what in many states is an underage boy. I am saying that one of the foundations of Democracy is something you conveniently ignored. In order for Justice to be done, it must be seen to be done. The Democrats proved they had no interest in helping the pages, or in Justice. Thus the Democratic Leaders have proved they are unfit to compose a government, and have no respect for the very foundation of Democracy. The Democratic Party by it's own actions have proved they would sacrifice the health and welfare of the Congressional Pages, for a few votes. They are less worthy of respect than Judas, and about as good for Democracy as Judas was for Christ.

No, that's not the point at all & you know it. The point Ichy was making was that when libs get caught in illegal & highly unethical scandals the left rallies around the perp & bends over backwards to support them & make the wrongdoing go away with as little or ZERO real consequences to the perp. And when a Republican is caught similarly, they are quickly denounced by most Republicans & if guilty, the perp is met with serious consequences. Ichy's example is one of many such instances. I bet you can't name one genuine instance where it happened the opposite way as described above for each party.
