Israel was attacked by Syria and Egypt but illegally occupies land from the Palestinians.

It occupies land it took from Syria, Egypt and Jordan, who all attacked Israel.

It gave Egypt's land back. I am not sure what you mean about Jordan.........Palestine once had the name Trans Jordan. That was a regional name reflecting the Jordan River and not the country of Jordan. Israel stills holds a small piece of Syria. However, its the Palestinians' entire land it holds hostage.

And you want the Palestinians to play nice nice. I wonder if you would feel the same way had the Israelis taken over Maryland.

I wouldn't be training children to blow themselves up if they can kill some Israelis in the process.

No, because you live in an affluent democracy where other recourses exist.

I wouldn't do it for both moral and practical reasons.

That's a luxury Palestinians can't afford.

Not only is it wrong, but it won't get the Palestinians (or the hypothetical Marylanders) what they want, assuming what they want is an independent country (or to rejoin the US), and not just some dead Israelis.

You understand......this is the problem.......you are applying your standards on those of an entire people who have had a whole different experience of life than you. That's the mistake Bush made invading Iraq and by maintaining your knee jerk, American POV, you do the same thing.

I don't condone a lot of what the Palestinians do but I don't walk in their shoes.
