Iran OUTLAWING THE DOLLAR? put anyone in jail that uses it in their country.

ELMAT analisys:

If it becomes a law and that suddenly forces the rich Iranians with their USD under the mattress to be in trouble, forcing them to exchange the USD so that Iranian Central Bank collects since the Iranaians are squeezed by the US and have got no USD.

Not directed at Elmat really but at the rich Iranians.

Black market will soar!!!!

My reserves I keep for emergency amounts to some USD4K. Plus some 2K more of my wife’s ticket that I am asking for refund April 3rd.

March 21st 2007 will be one of the most significant dates this month. Iran has outlawed the American dollar and will put anyone in jail that uses it in their country after that date. ... Central banks around the world are increasingly diversifying their reserves, including cutting holdings of American dollars, according to a survey sponsored by Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC, the U.K.'s second-largest bank.

Aladdin,
So this "hydrocarbon law" was what 9/11 was all about. I knew that an embassy was being built but I had no idea that it would be our largest! Likely the fallback position, if the hydrocarbon law doesn't work out, is to encourage civil war so that the Kurdish region can be split off and the Haifa pipeline can be served. The bases in the western desert are no internet rumor. The local National Guard battalion just got back from a years Iraq tour and I know a guy who was in one of these places.

But there is no reason to believe that any of this is being done for the benefit of the USA. Israel gets a pipeline terminus and the transnationals get control of the worlds second largest oil reserve.

The problem lies with what Slider calls the "puppeteers", mainly the ones associated with the country that is getting the pipeline:

Bet this has been in the planning stage for a long time, long before Shrub.
