The Nation is a very left leaning magazine. Do some websearching to see other things that ARE being done for the Vets. The one below, for instance, suggests that we might have to have private hospitals work for the Vets.

One problem there and everywhere, is that there aren't enough people educated in the right areas to do the work.

Again, the population growth birthrate in 1970 was at 0%.... It is slightly below that today. We are not reproducing ourselves.

We REALLY need journalists who deserve the title, to do some actual reporting for a change, and give some proof of who they talked to, and what the specific things are in their piece. Not innuendo, not "some say", or "it is said".....etc.
