Given the fact that they were a couple of miles from Iranian waters, the question I have is why the heck didn't either the Brits or us have airborne reaction that got there before the Iranians could get back into Iranian water with the Brits. Boarding, taking them, and getting back, would have taken I think 10-20 minutes or so. If the Iranians had a helo gunship squatting in front of them, things might have resulted in a bunch more Iranians sitting in USA custody.
