I try to talk to people, not about them. I don't like it when people do that to me, and I assume other people find it annoying. I know you've experienced people doing it to you, as I have. I think, like my point about the Geneva Conventions, that even if people do to you what you do not like, it still lowers you to do it in retaliation- which is why I try not to do it. Not in retaliation, and not as a first strike. Retaliation is not really all that exculpatory. There's some old testament satisfaction in it, i suppose, but anyone following Jesus (apparently around 91% of the country) really shouldn't be getting off on retaliation. Instead, they should be presenting their cheeks. :-)
