yaetmo says Math, "time clock" is figure of speech. Regardless of salaried vs hourly, he was cheating taxpayers out of the value of what they were expecting for the $ they paid for him.

Oh yes, that must have been several pennies worth, right? I mean, we're probably not talking in the Halliburton range or $500 toilet seats or like that kind of "cheating taxpayers", are we? The only legitimate reason for anyone to be snooping out the actual computer and location from which a poster is posting is for law enforcement purposes, and the only persons who have any legitimate right or reason to do so are law enforcement officers in the pursuit of serious crime, not private citizens on a privacy-violating vengeance or "get-even" mission, just out to get those they consider adversaries. Perhaps what he did was against the rules, but IMO not nearly as illegitimate as you, who used your computer skills and equipment deceptively and for illegitimate purposes.

That's not necessarily so. A salaried person is getting paid for producing a result, not for the number of hours being spent. Even with an hourly employee, depending on what one's duties are, it may be possible to put in enough extra time to more than compensate for goofing off time. Unless you have factual evidence that this was not the case, your claims are unproven.
