Many years ago I knew Todd Gitlin -- one of the founders of SDS.

As you might expect he has long since shed his radical ways and now is an affluent college professor and author on the media and hollywood.

He now harps on the need for radicals to move to the center if they want to change anything.

But at least he has not moved to the far right as some ex radicals have.
