My problem with Richardson is I'm not sure how bad he WANTS the job. He dosn't seem to have the "fire in the belly" the pundits always talk about. He's a very sensible and realistic person, and he may actually be running for VICE president.

re: Richardson- He may not have all the qualities of a president...

Like Bush does? Elected twice?

I'm not sure what F'ing "qualities" you are looking for beyond experience and competency. You want another "tag line" President like a "compassionate conservative"? You want another marketing product?

First, the post I made re. Richardson was hardly derogatory nor was meant to put him down. On the contrary, I thought it was very positive.

Secondly, I am not sure why you are yelling at me. I certainly did not make the 'rules'.

Thirdly, a leader needs to inspire his people. Sorry, but Richardson doesn't have that leadership quality.....at least not for me. In addition, he is very much a mediator type.....which means you rarely see him take a strong stand on any issue. What does he really stand for? You have to dig to find out.

If you are going to vote on star status rather than competence and policy then you are part of the problem not the solution.

Excuse me? I liked Obama long before he announced he was running for president....when he was not a star. I went to see him a year ago last winter when he came to speak for Cantwell here in Seattle long before he announced he was running for president. I liked what he had to say....I share a similar mindset with him and Clinton.....that's a first for me...for the first time starting with Bill I was able to identify with my leaders. I never could identify with Reagan and HW. I like the fact that Obama is not white protestant.....this country needs leaders that reflect all its people, not just the upper crust, of which I am not a member.

That both Clinton and Obama are charismatic and stars is an added bonus. Nonetheless, I am a little too smart to be a starfucker.

In any case, I find it annoying that you are upset with me because I don't prefer 'your' candidate. What happen to free choice?
