"As for only being pennies worth, Butter was spending hours upon hours each week reading/posting while on the clock...." claims Honest Al, the bean counter.

So Al, I guess you wouldn't have done all those nasty, despicable dirty tricks if you had not been an outraged California Tax payer.

Take Rande for instance, who spent more hours posting on company time at the bat cave than Kirk. And much better posts too.

Rande admitted that he was posting on KPMG's dime but he said he did so much work when he did work, that the company was still way ahead. Ain't that a hoot?

Anyway it's probably a good thing because it kept Rande from participating in those illegal tax schemes that cost KPMG about 600 million in fines. Of course Rande left just before the indictments came down and now pitches annuities for Schwab.

But I digress, the only people you would be concerned with are California or Federal Gov't employees who are squandering your tax dollars.

All other time thieves welcome...is that right Al?

yaetmo uses the following alibi for his tracking down a private citizen/public employee: What I stumbled onto was in intruder. Then I did nothing more exotic than turn the lights on and see who it was.

An intruder? On a public message board? How can anyone be an "intruder" on a public message board?

But ok, as long as you want so much to tell us all about it, questions:

As for your doing "nothing more exotic", I've seen references to your reporting his use of the computer to his boss and trying to have him fired. I don't know if it's true, just something I'm sure I've read. Is it true that he was reported to the boss? Was he fired? Was he reprimanded? Was his computer taken away? Was he instructed to cease and desist? Or do you suppose his boss tossed your complaint into file 13, the one for nutcase complaints that he/she doesn't have time for?

Additionally, How did you see it as YOUR personal mission to track down where he was posting from, and why? What did he possibly say that would make you take it upon yourself to personally track down another poster? Are you in law enforcement? If so, what crime did you suspect this poster may be committing by posting something on a worldwide internet investment message board forum that you didn't agree with? If it hadn't been a state computer, would you have felt that anything untoward was being done that entitled you to this person's personal information? Do you often do this kind of thing for your own personal and vengeful reasons? How can it be anything other than personal? Is it even legal for private citizens to do this?

Just some thoughts. Thank you for your offer. Take your time.

--Are you referring to the bashers blowing people's QQQ "losses" out of all proportion to reality, and us "trivializing" it by posting the true fact that no one lost money by following both the Jan. 2000 call AND the QQQ call?

Is THAT what you mean by us "trivializing" arguments we were "losing?"
