Watching people who are wasting our taxdollars and living off the government instead of going out and making a living for themselves and contributing to society at home? Watching people who give up their responsibilities as mothers and fathers and to their families at home and go off to engage in violence in foreign lands, and come home all screwed up? I am sorry, but the U.S. military has become a big workfare scam, and it is out of control. I do not like the fact that we spend so much money to keep these people employed on the public dole. I am sick of Congress taking money from hard working people to pay people to go destroy other countries, and ruining their families while they are at it (divorce is surging amonst Iraq vets). I would like to pay for a military that did something useful like set up a real secure border along our southern and northern border. Now that would be getting something for our hard earned money, and would be government actually improving our lives. The irony is we are all a lot more threatened by domestic American criminals and illegal aliens who commit crimes much more than arab terrorists. That is a statistical fact. Why are we spending so much money on something that barely even registers as a statitical threat to our lives like arab terrorists?
