You can only short a maximum of 50% of your total position at the time. So you can only short $50 of a $100 cash position. And if not before the close today, you have to wait until April 27.

And then it costs 50 cents to buy to close.

You should add in a rule to the header that when you cover a short, you pay 1% commission on the amount. That way closing out a short position has the same transaction cost as selling a stock.

I thought that would be obvious the way we handle shorts here. But better make it clear so consider it done.
