For example, when Gingrich started pushing the "Contract With America," Bill Clinton all of a sudden figured out what welfare reform is and how to control federal spending. Then he proceeded to portray Gingrich as a man who would steal school lunches and shut down the government for politics sake. How about Hillary's recent "discoveries" of conservative values? No one really believes that she would soften her pro-choice stance. Or her stance on gun control. It's all about portraying herself as the "moderate" and her opponents as "extremists."
