"Appraisal, or tax assessment?"

Oops, my bad, I meant to say assessment. Must be a Monday.

House was reassessed in 2006 with a walk through by assessor.

The "assessed value" from the county (for tax purposes) in King County, WA, typically lags the market value by about 18 months, which in my home's case, represents over 100k. It's all relative though -- if everybody's value doubles, everybody's tax stays the same, here at least.
