If your conclusion is the case, then should we pull out of everywhere and just guard this country? How exactly should we deal with this? It's hard enough to get our arms around the problem, and even harder to know how to handle the problem once we have identified it...... For Muslim militants, terror is the end-state they wish to put us in. If terror does not cause us to accept Allah, we are to be slain. I have often written that this war is ripe for expansion. I believe that is true now more then ever. I do not view withdrawal from Iraq as more than temporarily consequential. This war is going to go on regardless of the location of our troops.
