Yes, Bush lied about tax cuts, in two big ways. First, he said it's "your money" but didn't say "it's also your debt that I'm going to grow to the moon". Number two, as the book "perfectly Legal" proves, unless you're making over $500,000 a year Bush's tax plan slyly cheats you. His tax policy is for the very rich only. Everyone else gets crumbs or their pockets picked.

But I will concede that is one Bush's few accomplishments, lowering taxes. He just did it in a dishonest way. Read the fine print next time. We got rooked. Bush will be leaving a huge fiscal mess when he departs office. Worse than anything we've ever seen.
