Seems likely we're headed for an all-out death match between Al-Qaeda/Sunni and Hezbollah/Shiite forces. But the fear of a regional maelstrom could induce Iran and Saudi Arabia to cut some kind of deal and push it on their clients. Bottom line is we really don't know what will happen.
