A major arms-sale package that the Bush administration is planning to offer Saudi Arabia and other Persian Gulf allies to deter Iran has been delayed because of objections from Israel, which says that the advanced weaponry would erode its military advantage over its regional rivals, according to senior United States officials.

Israel is the only ally, and I use that term loosely, to which Bush listens. Had it been Britain, the Saudis would already be playing war games with their new equipment.

Bush better watch it........if he keeps trying to downgrade Israel's regional superpower status, we, the people, may end having to sit seder and celebrate Passover in order to placate the AIPAC.
