Scholes? Met him once when he was teaching at Stanford before the LTCM debacle. Nice guy. I've since moved on to Arizona, but I believe he's been back at Stanford for a number of years. Also, I recall reading that Scholes lost a dispute with the IRS about two years ago. He and Merton - I think it was Merton - had to repay over 100 million in tax deductions, plus a fine of something like 40 million. I don't know, but I'll bet those fines are still under appeal.
