I'm fairly confident that Qualcomm will file for an immediate injunction against Nokia early next week.

Lupin has already stated that the chances of a preliminary injunction (prior to the trial) are relatively small. I believe his reasoning was that courts dont normally give such injunctions in cases where a monetary award would cover damages incurred during the trial.

No response from Qualcomm plus the unusual (and gratuitous)reference to the 3% net IPR figure suggests a face saver is in the works. The parties aren't that far apart 3% vs. 4.5% (?). there are lots of other things to work with, i.e., chips, Media Flo etc. Seems like a deal should be made...HF
