"fast food" in London tasted blander than in Bob's beloved Boogerville

In Australia cheap burgers are made with beetroot, no meat.

Ignore d:oug. There is no McUluru. The aborigines would riot. Since the Sons of the Transportees have given Australia back to them, they'd evict them. :-)

I'd have a talk with this Clem guy. Bet you don't have a Boogerville Eye or Tower of Boogerville. Or even a Boogerville Bridge (the one that guy put near Lake Mead when he thought he was buying the Tower Bridge).

The exchange rate is horrendous though
The sticker shock has to be experienced to be believed.

then realize I was paying about twice as much for the same (or blander) burger.
You were. And blander.

Nicer restaurants were fine though.
They were? Where?

Pub food was fine ;)
YOU WENT TO PUBS FOR THE FOOD?????
Do you go to bars here for the peanut shells on the floor? :-)
