Also when I look for the links I naturally scan from the top.

Which is why I was unsure about reversing the order of the straps. But it's a matter of two mutually-exclusive needs when it comes to scanning order. It's more commonly accepted to scan down from the top, but when you're used to the site, your tendency is to scan upwards from the center, which is why the objections to having to scan (and subconsciously process) the Finance Toolbar on the way UP to the menu bar you're trying to get to.

I'm giving myself some time to get used to this order of bars before I decide how much I like/dislike it and I'm sure we'll get plenty of useful feedback from you all too.

Since we're changing things anyway, we're actively watching reactions and feedback to take advantage of the rare opportunity to do some fine-tuning.

I mentioned to John this morning (and think someone else said the same thing here earlier) that I'd like the "Mail" link toward the center next to SubjectMarks and PeopleMarks because those are the 3 I use most and that'll be used most by practically anyone who spends any amount of time here.

Thoughts?
