"Next major licenses to expire? Anyone know?"

No, but 2011 is the next expiration of a WCDMA license for subscriber units.

"WCDMA Subscriber Unit License Extensions

•Only 4 licensees’WCDMA Subscriber Unit royalty obligations will expire during the next 10 years for the limited number of patents licensed under their Capture Period. These 4 licensees will require an extension. Nokia is one of the four

•Other than Nokia, the earliest to expire is in 2011

---> Next major licenses to expire?

I thought I heard Samsung mentioned at one time for the 2009 timeframe but I could be wrong. Does that mean you'll be going on holidays soon?

You mentioned Nokia R&D. It's a pity that most of that isn't shared with the industry.

OT Here's a catchy tune from Ilmarinen rogersalloom.com
