They also mentioned to Donovan that they were basically wiped out. I could see that -- the stress of trying to repeat, with everyone gunning for you and everything you do under the microscope.

I think Brewer and Horford are pretty close to ready and will make good pros. Not sure about Noah. Green could have definitely used another year. Can't say I blame any of them for taking the money and running, though.

Especially from a fan perspective. They will certainly go down as one of the best teams ever... but they had a chance to go down as the best ever. What's that worth?

I have a feeling that if 50 people were advising these kids, 49 told them to go for the money. I probably would have also. It's the American way...
