Please learn to read more carefully:

(1) I indicated that I didn't believe in any MM conspiracy. That's not the same thing as saying that Naked shorting does or does not exist. Naked shorting does exist. It can potentially be a problem. Is it a "conspiracy". Doubt it. There are a bunch of greedy MMs who obviously like the idea of selling shares which they never have to deliver, but the extent of their conspiracy is more likely that of lobbying the SEC and Congress to preserve their little goody bag.

(2) Is naked shorting holding down the price of RMTR? Marginally, if any. RMTR has appeared on the SHO list so there has definitely been some naked shorting, but given the low float for RMTR it doesn't take that many shares to actually get on the list. Also, it had been off the list several times as well, so its not like there is a huge pile of naked shorts that keeps growing and growing and growing with MMs desperately trying to keep down the price of RMTR continually shorting more shares. That is what would have to be going on under your line of thinking to actually keep a led on the price of stock for which there was true demand.

(3) As I said, if we get earning next quarter, the price goes up. Another ZERO, and its flat or falls. Nothing at all to do with naked shorting. If we got $0.04 in earnings and the stock prices went down and we see short sales go through the roof, then you might have a point.

(4) You obviously seemed concerned that I'm a poor old "over 60" type who is too feeble to understand how I'm being fleeced left and right. Well don't worry about it. You would be better advised to start studying the underlying fundamentals of Ramtron's business model, and the market potential for its products, and its competitive position. You post a lot, but I've never read a single post of yours that indicates that you have a deep understanding of this company. Maybe you do, maybe you don't, but I sure have not seen it in any of the voluminous posts you have written.
