<<Hope you get the chance to come out someday and fish for Salmon. The timing has to be right, but I know someone that could take you out and almost guarantee you'd catch fish.>>

I used to do that on Lake Michigan. Caught many from both my boat and fishing from shore. Cooked them on the Weber, canned some and did an old time cold smoking thing. That old time cold smoking thing was a treat. Yummy salmon but had to ease into eating it because it was so rich. Raw smoked salmon still good to eat after 3 months on the kitchen counter un cooked but wrapped in plastic.

That would be fun. We had neighbors that loved to hunt and fish. Their son was my son's best friend while they lived here. His mother went to Washington Salmon fishing, and returned with one mounted just under trophy size.
