Yeah, I know the details, I was just pointing out to Nadine that Jordan didn't start the war, and that one of the most significant prewar attacks was an Israeli incursion into Jordan (WB) in late 1966. There were quite a few hints leading up to that war so it was really no surprise to anyone (other than the Egyptian airforce, LOL!)

I do wonder if Jordan had stayed out, what Israel would have done after picking off Egypt and Syria? The temptation of Jerusalem would have been quite high. In all likely hood, Iraq and Saudi's would have invaded Jordan as a means of getting to Israel, so Israel would have had a perfect excuse anyway.
