Inconvenient Truths

Rob Kirby

Generally, I write about matters financial and specifically about the perpetuation of lies and misinformation by officialdom involved with the rigging of global financial markets – especially GOLD.

In case this point is lost on anyone, financial markets - and gold in particular – are rigged by officialdom so as to perpetuate Global U.S. Dollar hegemony [ie. the role of the U.S. Dollar as the world’s sole reserve currency].

At this point in time, I would suggest there is a growing plurality of folks who recognize that Middle Eastern conflict is/was perhaps never about WMD’s – but a much larger UNSTATED AGENDA: namely, the maintenance of U.S. Dollar [Petro-dollar] as the world’s reserve currency – AT ANY COST.

I bring the following point to everyone’s attention because it clearly illustrates the lengths that officialdom will go to defend their unstated, not so hidden, agenda.

I also present this episode as a ‘case study’ employing the same investigative techniques outlined in a previous piece I penned, titled, Forensic Economics 101.

For those who share the thoughts exemplified by the mainstream financial media - who feel that financial market rigging BY OFFICIALDOM is a stretch – you’d better go pour yourself a stiff drink before you read this.

I did not want to go there but, unfortunately, it’s a line that must be crossed.

Roll Out the Blood Red Carpet

Just weeks before the mid-term elections last fall, late on the night of Tuesday, Oct. 10 – a major U.S. munitions dump in Baghdad – Camp Falcon – erupted in a series of fireballs that according to eyewitness illuminated the night sky in Baghdad for more than 3 hours.

Reports indicate that Falcon base was designed to house a large contingent of American troops, mostly drawn from the 4th Infantry Division, stationed at Fr. Bliss, Texas. Allegedly, at the time of the attack, there were approximately 3000 men inside the camp [it was designed to house as many as 5,000], which also was filled with ammunition supplies, fuel, tanks and vehicles.

However, American media initially reported that 100 men were stationed at the base at the time of the incident and reported no casualties.

Reportedly, eyewitness accounts described,

Iraqi Resistance Report for events of Wednesday, 11 October 2006 Muhammad Abu Nasr Al-Habbaniyah, Wednesday, 11 October 2006 Nine huge American transport planes unload casualties from devastating Resistance strike on US Falcon Base in Baghdad just before midnight Tuesday, indicating heavy American losses. In a bulletin posted at 2am Makkah time before dawn Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported its correspondent in al-Habbaniyah as saying that the US military hospital at the massive American-occupied air base there had begun to receive dead and wounded personnel from the devastating Resistance rocket assault on the US Falcon arsenal in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah. Just before midnight Tuesday, the Iraqi Resistance fired barrages of Katyusha and Grad rockets into the arsenal, the largest such facility in occupied Iraq, causing the ordnance to begin to explode.

Interestingly, searching the U.S. Department of Defense’s web site with the words ‘camp falcon’ produces no mention of the incident at all.

In the aftermath of the explosions, eyewitness accounts of NINE huge American transport planes – to unload casualties [in al-Habbaniyah, home of the US military hospital at the massive American-occupied air base there] would be an EASILY refutable proposition if it were not true – wouldn’t it?

But it never was.

Perhaps even more incredulous, are claims by the ‘good guys’ that they had only 100 personnel safeguarding what was arguably America’s largest cache of munitions in occupied Iraq.

In a dispatch posted at 12:30am Makkah time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier Iraqi Resistance forces had attacked and blown up the largest US weapons arsenal depot in the American General Headquarters in the south of Baghdad. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the arsenal, located in the as-Saqr Base in the south of Baghdad is the main supplier of equipment to the US forces. It came under Resistance rocket attack late on Tuesday night.

Does the assertion make any credible sense whatsoever - 100 men left to defend a weapons cache like this on a base PURPOSE BUILT to house upwards of 5,000 men?

American transport planes used in Iraq are the C-5 Galaxy:

The Lockheed Martin C-5B Galaxy strategic transport aircraft first entered service with the US Air Force in 1986. The USAF has 126 C-5A/B aircraft in service, but is retiring a number of the C-5As. The C-5B is capable of carrying a maximum payload up to 118,387kg to a range of 5,526km and this range can be extended by in-flight refuelling. The heavy logistic transport aircraft is of cantilever high wing monoplane design with a fail-safe semi-monocoque aluminium alloy fuselage.

UPPER DECK

A rest area at the front of the upper deck provides accommodation for 15 people including the relief crew. The rear section of the upper deck can be fitted with seating for 75 troops.

LOWER DECK

The lower deck can accommodate 270 troops. The passenger doors are fitted with Garrett Air Cruisers evacuation slides and four life rafts, each of 25-passenger capacity.

The cabins and decks are air conditioned and pressurized.

Unconfirmed reports claim that not only did the U.S. military machine lost much of its armor and transport, and its entire reserves of ammunition and special fuel, but the casualty list for only the first day is over 300.

Here is an alleged transcription of that list of those who were evacuated to other hospital units – take note of the MORE THAN 100 casualties listed from the 4th Infantry Division alone – the ‘listed’ prime prospective tenants for Camp Falcon:

Apparently, it was inconvenient to report such horrific losses so close to the mid-term elections.

So when politicians babble on about their next request for additional funding and ‘how concerned they are and how vital it is to the soldier’s welfare’ – better think again – they’re likely taking their marching orders from the Bankers like Blow-Bucks-Bernanke – and his gang of crooked bean counters over at the Federal Reserve.

So what has any of this got to do with gold you ask?

If leadership and departments of government will lie to us this blatantly about these brave souls who put it all on the line for their country – do you really think these birds – along with their ‘bought and paid for’ mainstream media - would think twice about not giving us the straight goods on the REAL state of the economy, the dollar, inflation or gold?

Better think again my fine feathered friends!
