Bush SIGNED the bill with the bridge to nowhere! He never complained about ANY Repugnican pork, the hundreds of billions of dollars of it..

The bridge to nowhere never happened, but Jack Murtha airport did.

Getting federal money for an airport or a freeway is pretty standard in this country. Most would not consider it pork. Typically, airlines pay for the gates and baggage facilities and the feds and state pay for the runways and the main terminal. That's one of the little known secrets in this country.....the airline industry indirectly is heavily subsidized by the feds. And yet, the GOP starves Amtrak. Go figure!
