i just canceled my comcast after twenty two years. love it. g

verizon fios tv will change over system on monday, tues i drop off the set tops at local comcast office and say good-bye.

I got the lady actually almost yelling at me when i told them i wanted to cancel. told her system unreliable.
Then yesterday i got a call from comcast, wanted to know if they could do anything to keep me. i told her no. please answer one question,, why are you leaving.. i told her unreliable service. if she wanted two answers i would have told her verizon is $23. month cheaper for same or better service.

we had some severe storms in the last year. everyone who had comcast for web lost power, i was on fios and never lost a connection. I told them for several years i use you for tv as i really there is no real alternative. i do not consider disk an alternative. however, for pc to web there was always several suppliers, now on optic line buried about three or four feet in the ground, you never have to worry about someone digging up a line about six inches below ground like comcast. Plus they have old lines throughout the area that are always breaking down.

if you got verizon in the area i suggest you see if fios is available.
