They catch that grade inflation at the Colleges with SAT. When you look at the selectivity of the top colleges, it's obvious that they are only pulling the top minds with their normal selection. Legacies and jocks are the only exception.

That's why Companies want grads from top schools. They know they are already winnowed down to the best. Back in the day, I used to be able to give people Wonderlic tests, and find out roughly how smart they are. Not any more.
