When Qualcomm bought SnapTrack, DoCoMo was already using their A-GPS as a stand alone solution. Does anyone know whether DoCoMo has since moved on?

snap track was designed to keep track of units, like trailers, tractors, shipments, tied into security too. if a lock had been broken etc. i never thought of primarily for navigation. rather it was a commercial productivity device.

web site says largest world wide. list a number of large commercial customers who use snap track.
