LOL. yes, I'm very enthusiastic about IPTV because it has the potential to drive my cable bills down and I think the cable companies are too monopolistic. Also, I love all the new capabilities that I got, like emailed voicemail messages, when I switched to VoIP. So I can't wait to see what we get with IPTV. For example, I'd love to be able to transfer my recorded shows from my DVR to my PC or to my TREO to watch on business travel trips. But Time Warner's DVR won't let me do that and I'm not technically savvy enough to jury rig it. I just want something that works out of the box, like Tivo. So I figure with IPTV, we're going to get all of that type of functionality with cheaper prices than Comcast and Time Warner charge now.
