It's 41 degrees here and supposed to fall in the 30's by early morning. I am dressed like an eskimo now to go out to dinner shortly.

When our children were still in the easter bunny period of their lives, we could always expect a cool front to move in Easter Weekend, so planned for those times. We hid all the eggs in the house and made a few little nests with the green grass that comes with Easter baskets in corners and hid the eggs on the cushions and tables in the den, dining room and living room. Of course the kids tore around the house hoping to find the most as we gave the holder of the most eggs a dollar. This is not the same as hiding in the yard, but it did provide an Easter Egg hunt for them and they did not complain about it.

I did have one child ask how I knew when all the eggs were found and had to come up with a quick answer. I told him I heard a noise in the kitchen and went in to check it out and saw the Easter Bunny had been there and looked around to see how many he left. I told him the Bunny always left them in an easy place to find for all little children. He kinda looked at me funny but made no further inquiries. Whew!!!!
