Your problem is the 500 million market cap thingie. Even FNI, a solid nickel stock and producer is staying at 118 mill market cap. Crowflight, a pre feasibility nickel potential producer is at a mere 143 million. Liberty Mines, another nickel producer in Timmins, is worth 156 mill market cap. Canadian Arrow, an aggressive jr. with potential in the Kenbridge and 4 other properties, and production behind them in Timmins sits at a miniscule 20 million market cap!

FNX is worth 2.2 bill, but its growth potential is questionable. They need another major mine to go anywhere, as nickel price wise they may be discounted already.

You won't find many juniors and growth stocks at 500 mill market cap. Where are they going to grow to?

Uranium is a whole other question. It is a field I know about but have not researched assiduously. Again you are late in the game as many are already discounted. Still there is growth potential in many stocks. JNR has good possibilities but its market cap is 305 million CDN. Denison Mines? 2.7 billion may be a low market cap for this producer. It is growing, I can tell you that. Charts on CDN U producers are fantastic.

Here is one U possibility. again, way under the 500 mill radar mask, but interesting.. open pit polymet with U in Sweden... Continental -- CZQ on the TSX...

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- Feb. 14, 2007) - Continental Precious Minerals Inc. CZQ/TSXV is pleased to announce that it has received the results from three of the 11 holes drilled in the Fall of 2006 on its MMS Viken Licence, to add to the results from one of the 11 holes announced on November 20, 2006. The drilling program was initiated in order to carry out verification drilling and to define continuity of the mineralization initially tested in 1978 by the Geological Survey of Sweden ("SGU"). The following summary of drill hole analytical results is supported by element plots of analyses completed during 1978 by the SGU and by ALS Chemex (ISO 9001:2000 accreditation) of North Vancouver, Canada, on the core samples from Continental's drilling in the Fall of 2006.

Look at these.

FNX - I disagree with EC. I think Levack is much larger than they originally figured on. Levack has infra-structure to hoist 8000 TPD (I think 8000, Condor will know). The expansion of Levack will be the "new mine" that Eric is looking for. Also the Podolsky (sp?) in N Norman or S Parkin township will be a producer soon. easily meets 500 mil. criteria.

DY owns 25% of FNX. also meets criteria to-day (I think it did at contest start also). DY also owns (40%?) interest in large Madagascar (ambatovoy?)nickel deposit. JV partners with $$$ (japanese and Korean) are lined up. DY is large mining contractor/driller etc. if they are not making good $ in the contracting business now, they never will.

BWR not nickel, but they will keep pumping out the profits.

Newmont will be buying gold in the ground. Most targets will be below your 500 mil threshold but consider ARU and G (Goldcorp)

Uranium just jumped some more. Slowlane is more up to date than I, but 500 mil may be a problem. Cameco (CCO)is cream of the crop, however and meets criteria.
