Well, I cant argue with you and against Fred, I happen to like the fellow. But, I am just being realistic. The absolute WORST possible situation would be for one of the front running Democrats to become President. Either of them would lead this nation VERY FAR over to the left, especially if they had the support of both Houses of Congress. I fear the damage would be irreparable. jdn

fred thompson may be an excellent candidate, we will see if he enters and how he defends his positions. polls will give us an idea if he can win the repbulican ticket and the race for the white house. If he does poorly in democrat and independent polls while rudy does well , everyone should step back and think about who in the republican party has the best chance to win the white house.
