Our press is NOT free. We are fools to believe it. our press is the servant of whomever pays it's fees. We have fat fools giving us their opinions as news and knowingly trying to fix elections in order to promote their own, or their master's political agendas. If a reporter does not toe the line, they don't make it to the big time, and no one knows they exist. look at the reporting on the War in iraq, or the War between israel and the palestinians. Although the Palestinians fore rockets and try to kill Israelis, the fact they are so very bad at it, is viewed as a reason to condemn Israel for being better at defending themselves.
