John and I talked quite a bit about the user-config thing yesterday and it's going to be quite a while before it's done. No user-config items will be added using the current setup. It needs to be redone from scratch. Sizable project and pretty far down the list. Other items far higher include getting SI's webserver into the server pool (we're currently running on iHub's webservers), figuring out why we got a number of db connection errors yesterday on iHub (about 0.001% of page views, but we worry about ANY happening), figuring out why SI still uses thousands of db connections and runs fine but iHub was croaking when it previously would get past about 250 connections, etc, etc.
