Why are Republicans so incompetent? Even if they are political functionaries, why are they so corrupt and incompetent? It's actually rather puzzling. I've heard that joining the Republican ranks is very easy. If you show up they'll welcome you with open arms. Joining the Democratic ranks OTOH is supposed to be difficult. You have to start off at a low level and work yourself up. Maybe this is why the incompetents migrate to the rightwing. As long as you hate democracy and the Republic, you're in.
