"Its more than just giving credibility to the Iranians........its counteracting all the lies. " Ok. It is an unfortunate thing that the Iranian spin is probably closer to the truth that ours. Our media has fallen so far. Its rather amazing our media is so lame. Obama and Clinton have been forced to boycot Fox's event because Fox is so biased. Fox is a major media outlet. The fact that its understood and accepted in reference to how biased Fox is shows just how far American media has fallen. "And yet, we are nearly at war with Iran and we stood passively aside as Israel devastated Lebanon." It is a failure of our leadership. And it happens at a time when our media has been intentionally hamstrung for decades. So there isn't a good, mainstream way to cut through the BS. Now the Internet can be used to glean the truth, but blogs haven't matured enough to be trustable and sifting through the foreign media is extremely time consuming. So media-wise, we are in a precarious position. Yes, we are in a very precarious position.
