CC:

Thanks re MVG. I've just opened a position again in Mundoro (MUN), which on a cap per ounce basis is even cheaper than MVG -- less than $10/oz. This is a higher risk though because they are waiting for the renewal of their business license in China on the Maoling project.

They seem to be making good progress though, and Maoling is certainly a world class deposit. I did well on MUN a couple of year ago but then got out when it ran into regulatory problems, but I think there's a good chance they'll resolve this in 2007 -- especially with others such as Eldorado now pouring gold in China. If so, this is a 4- or 5-bagger at least. If not, I don't think it can go much lower than here! So moderate risk, high potential reward IMO.

I've put less than 2% of my PF into this. Everyone should do their own DD.

Best regards,
Howy

CC, Metallic Ventures Gold (MVG.TO) -- I thought today's news was very positive and bought a bunch of stock, but it seems that no one else agrees with me, at least so far. Did I miss something about the drill results? It seems to me that Newmont would be fools not to exercise their option to enter into a JV on the Converse project now.
