That's easily managed. If the long term resident workers become a problem, Emiratis just put a cap of 10 years as the maximum time that non-nationals can live in the country. Problem solved.



If they do. But it might decrease the quality of their labor force on whom they are quite dependent, as you note.

The Germans thought they had the problem of their Turkish guest workers well in hand too. But look where they are now.
