Ameritrade just told me that I can place an order for the warrants through a broker (at the internet rate) immediately.

I put orders in with Merrill Lynch... doesn't mean your guy isn't right, I often don't here anything back for quite a while, and I'm usually out doing things and check at the end of the day. I'll let you know what I hear.

seriously, if warrants give you leverage -- do you not want them to be seasoned (maybe have some of the "newness" premie decay) and maybe buy when the stock is not at a local high??
