They spend more time figuring out ways to do investigations of Republicans and more time fighting with Bush over Iraq than passing new legislation to get us off the oil. Agree. I think at least some of it is saving issues for '08 so they look like they are doing something going into the election. Think how much more effective the Congress would be if there were single term limits. No special interest money for reelection. No conniving, positioning and posturing to get reelected. More 'regular' people serving. Now let's just get the 'career' Congress to pass single term limits... right!
