<Has WS forgotten about shoulder season? Can't imagine they haven't. Anyone selling into this rally?>

I've used the rally to close my position in AET leaving me overweight in BTE and PWE, and looking to add to SJT.

It seems that everywhere I look (starting here) there are clear signs of higher prices for both oil and gas. Kurt Wulff projects an increase of 10% in distributions for SJT.

As for shoulder season, certainly we on this board know that it really is different this time for oil & gas supply/demand/price. Maybe that reality is finally reflected in the broader market.

OIH has rebounded nicely today although I am long puts in that puppy. Tomorrow should be interesting. If OIH can hold through tomorrow and on through the end of the week then shoulder season for the OIH may be just a figment of my imagination. -g-

The weak dollar should help elevate crude in $$ terms. Funny that a rise in gold in the rand didn't necessarily help the SA miners...

Re: OIH ... >>> Anyone selling into this rally? <<<

For Heaven's sake, why?

Look at money flows! Do they look like they are getting weaker?

Look at an indicator I call Momentum Bands! Price continues to ride the rising upper bands. In the case of OIH, I wouldn't even consider selling until price closed below the middle band.

I understand selling into strength, but I also understand letting profits run. We must learn to balance the two.

Here's the daily chart using money flows and the Momentum Bands.

Here's my original analysis when others thought we were a little extended.

Price has continued higher.

Commander, "Anyone selling into this rally?"

Actually I bought PTEN, PXP, and more EPEX today. Using trailing stops as I don't feel all that confident. Things have been very quiet in Israel for weeks but they are not sleeping. Could be the quiet before the storm.
