It's no more about "saving the planet" than Gulf I was about babies being thrown out of incubators or the Civil War was about slavery. It's a political and economic agenda.

What bothers me the most, I think, is the fear instilled into people who try to be publically rational. If Algore wins his crusade, and it looks like he might, we'll be seeing a brave new world.

Rain forests cause Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), a common malady in regions that don't get enough sunlight. Perhaps that is their problem.
