Last night I had a vision that a man came to me on a flaming pie. He said that John Kerry should quit trying to be an imitation of Al Gore and really show America what the Iraq War is costing.

He should introduce a bill which allocates 100 billion dollars to domestic spending. It should cover every road, day care center, hospital, art museum, and peanut processing plant that has been proposed in the last 6 years. It could fund billions for student scholarships, unemployment extensions, child health care, NASA, and bridges to somewhere. It could rebuild New Orleans. It could put up a statue to everyone who looks good in bronze on a court house lawn.

That is a bill that could capture the imagination of the public. He should then send a letter to every single person or organization that would be funded and ask them to contact the President to support this domestic agenda.

That is a bill that would instantly bring notice!
